veryn good product with a little work
I just installed the gun rack using the adaptor. Used a one inch aluminum strap to reinforce the floor mount and gun rack to the dash. These "add on's" really made a difference to the stability of the gun rack. The installation was on my 2007 polaris ranger side by side. The polaris has a small storage area in the dash directly in line with the gun rack. At the back and behind the storage space is a metal strap that I drilled through. The aluminum strapping is easy to bend, using a vise, at each of the bends a 1/2" hole is drilled. Attach one end to the gun rack and the other to the strap behind the dash. I just came back from a moose and buffalo trip and the gun rack worked perfectly. PS take your time when bending the dash strap to make sure it fits without putting undue pressure on the gun rack.
