Beefy!
Ok, it's a lock not a rocket appliance. However, it is very heavy and feels very secure on the bike. Comes with an orange reminder strap which is a nice touch. Fits great under the seat.

Solid Construction
Very solid construction. Would take a lot of effort to bypass this kind of security.

Great lock, very portable!
Great lock. Tough, sturdy and includes a reminder cord! Only downside is that the keyhole cover doesn't always stay put and stays loose Otherwise I'm happy.

Easy to use, solid, paint job poor
The lock is easy to use, seems to have some weight to it so it will be solid enough to delay or deter a theft. my one complaint is the paint job is poor, a good chunk of the yellow paint rubbed off the first time I put it in my saddle bag, I doubt the rest of the paint will stand up to the elements over time based on that.

Affordable lock that does it's job
Ayee it's Nubs here:
Well it was that time again where I just had to throw my money away and buy something. This time I listened to my fellow riders and decided to buy a lock.
Let me just start off by saying (like everyone else) if someone REALLY wanted to steal your bike they would this is just a deterrent. This just gives me some piece of mind when I go to a mall or grab some food.
Ya, sure you will tell yourself that your bike will never get stolen or it's just too unlikely to happen, until it actually does. Seeing as most people don't lock their steering anyways, I find this to be good practice.
Nice bright yellow lock, bright orange cord and very sturdy construction. For a cheap price of $35 I definitely recommend.

It's a disc lock. What more do you need?
It's a disc lock from Kryptonite. What more needs to be said? High quality (although the rubber lock cylinder cap doesn't want to stay closed on mine - not a big deal), good size, fits in under seat storage, comes with lanyard to remind you not to ride off with it still on the disc! Price is certainly right.

The Abus is better IMO
This and the Abus Element 285 Brake Disc Lock are similarly priced. I bought both. The Abus is better for 2 reasons: 1) It is much lighter 2) You don't need the key to lock it. eg) Once you park and want to secure the bike. You can't just take the unlocked disc lock and use it right away. You have to go through your pocket and find the key, insert it and push it down and rotate it while lining up the hole. Compare to the Abus, you just grab the disc lock, line up the hole and push down and you're done. Nothing wrong with the lock. Abus is just better for same price.

Will this product fit my ninja 650
If your front rotor has drilled holes then yes it will fit. I have it on my MV Augusta F4RR and it works great. Suggest you place it between the fork and calliper, that way if you roll the bike forgetting it's on you won't break your fender mount. I went to push my bike in my garage with it mounted in front of the fender mount and broke the fender. $500 in carbon fibre was an expensive mistake. It's a great lock, take it with me wherever I ride. Buy one you won't regret, just watch where you mount it on the rotor and make a habit of checking it's off if you go near your bike.
