Decent quality, improves visibility
I bought these lights primarily to be seen by other drivers. I mounted them to my vstar 1300 engine guard, I now have three distinct points of light from the front. Installation is fairly simple. Tip - I tightened the bolt which comes out of each light with narrow vise grips, gripping the bolt close to the light. Otherwise the bolt loosens as the nut mounting the light to clamp is tightened.
I used Kuryakyn's wiring kit, simple to install. Hardest part (on my bike) is finding a switched power source. I used the taillight wire. I did not use the provided tee-tap (don't like those), soldered the connection instead.
These lights are very bright, with an intense white light. Huge improvement in visibility to other vehicles. Quality of clamps and light housings is very good. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I would have preferred LED as an option, rather than a separate purchase. Kuryakyn sells LED clusters to replace the halogen bulbs in these lights, but they have to be bought separately.

Well made
They are beautifully made and look nice on the bike, but I do have a few comments:
1) They should include adapters to install the lights on different size smaller bars. (They have a 1-1/4" diameter clamp on them) My application had an 1" bar so had to make adapter and since my adapters were nonconductive this required running a ground wire from inside the light to the bike frame. Nothing to stop a person from buying them, but a bit more work to install.
2) They should have an option to buy the lights with the LED lights instead of the Incandescence. To buy the optional lights on their own are quite a bit extra. Some of the smaller bikes cannot push out the amperage to run these bulbs at lower engine speeds.
All that said, I would still buy these again.
