Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product. VSTAR install tip! Great feel to these grips once I figured out why the throttle side grip would not fit properly. VSTAR owners read!! I tried installing this on the throttle side but because there is a small piece of metal inside the new grip, it would not fit like the original. The inside metal hits the bar and prevents it from sliding on all the way. To make it more difficult, there is a small metal spike on the throttle control which slides into a small hole on the bar. Because the grip would not slide all the way forward, this spike would not fit into the hole. I had to drill a new hole into my handle bar in order to fit the throttle control back on and allow the casing to completely close. As I said, great feel to the grips once they were installed but what should have been a 30 minute job, turned into a very frustrating 3 hour job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ISO grips are the best for long riding I've been using ISO grips for years, I really like the flame set, they are the most comfortable set I've used so far. Reduces vibrations considerably and helps me ride longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thick, nice pads, solid grip, easy install Much bigger than my stock grips and good quality materials, glad I spent a bit instead of $30 on some slip-ons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy grips This is the second time I've upgraded to these grips and would recommend them to anyone looking at doing the same. Minimizes any vibration for all day riding and adds a little chrome to any ride. Keep in mind they do come with the needed grip glue so no need to purchase separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Comfort I find these grips sooo comfortable for those long tours down the highway, I feel that you can tour along without having to put to much grip on them and keeping steady speed. Your hands are resting on the grips, not gripping the grips. A1 grips and A1 service from Fortnine.

          Questions

My bike has heated handgrips. Can these be swapped in and still have the heated feature?

          Asked by: Randyhans
The regular ISO Grips are not recommended for heated grips. However, Kuryakyn make the ISO grips for certain bikes with heated grips. Once you enter the year, make and model of your vehicle on the product page, you will be able to view all available options for your bike. For certain bikes, you will have the option to select the "with heated grips" option

So everywhere I look recommends these grips for a Kawasaki Vulcan custom. But on the site it says they do not fit? My question is do they fit or do they not? Do I just have to move the controls over to accommodate the longer grips?

Can we install bar end weights with these grips? 2014 kawasaki ninja 1000

          Asked by: 450fizz

How do I know which ones to get? Dual cable or electronic? I ride a 2018 Harley Street Bob.

          Asked by: Jeff32
Look at your handlebars. If there are two cables running down the handlebars you have a dual cable set up. If it doesn't have any cables on the right side, it's throttle by wire (electronic).
