Description
Enjoy those longer rides & relax your throttle hand with the Mechanical Throttle Assist. This is the simplest & cleanest looking throttle position holder available. Attaching to the end of your handlebars, this beauty looks like a bar end weight. Simply hold the throttle at desired location & roll your little finger back to hold your throttle in position. The spring loaded tensioner makes it easy to set without over tightening for easy throttle shut down when needed. Add the left side for a bar end weight matched pair & ride on in comfort.
Universal Fit for all models with 7/8" or 1" hollow bars with open ends with inner diameter > 5/8".
Note: fits the following vehicles with Kuryakyn ISO-Grips: 2004-UP Victory Kingpin, 2006-UP Victory Hammer, 2004-UP Victory Vegas All Models.

Looks great, works even better!
I have now used this for 2 months, including a trip to BC and back (I live in Toronto). It is a lifesaver, really eases the load on the throttle hand, makes the ride WAY more comfortable. To be fair though - the claim that you only twist it 1/3 to lock on is total nonsense. It requires a few twists to get it set. But it always held no matter how long I left it lock on.

Very good quality Easy Installation
I bought this about 1 month ago. The part was delivered quickly and packaged well. It is built very well - good quality , appears durable and chrome is very nice. It was easy to install on my '06 Harley Electraglide. Takes a bit of getting used to using it but it works very well and I am very happy with the purchase!

Well manufactured
Install was fairly straight forward (kuryakyn instructions are always a little vague), took a little bit of time to fine tune the operation of the throttle lock. It works well when you figure out how to set it (it is not the easy roll of the little finger as is advertised) I'm quite happy with the results overall.

Does Not Fit Yamaha Roadliner
Supposed to fit handle bars with 5/8" inner diam . The expandable mechanism won't expand enough to hold tight. The o-ring on the inner clutch is too big and makes the mechanism too tight to move . Buy or be ware , I would recommend the exact fit #6284

Does the trick
It was easy to install as I already had the Kuryakyn handle on my motorcycle . It does what it is suppose to do but you have to turn it counter clock wise about 1 1/2 turn for it to lock the throttle handle if it is at the zero position to start , ( Kinda hard to set without letting go of the throttle ) .
As well this is a permanent setup , touching the brakes will NOT disengage this cruise assist aid as it actually locks the throttle handle using friction . BE AWARE
Looks very nice with the Kuryakyn handle , nice chrome end to my handle

Can you install this with Kuryakyn Contoured ISO-Throttle Boss Chrome Right - 6299 already installed?
I installed the cruise add on onto an existing 6299. Best thing I ever did. Amazing quality, easy to use on the road. Holds perfectly. Think it will out last me and the bike the way it was machined.

Will these work with heated grips? I've read the kaoko that is similar Will not work with heated grips. Maybe the kaoko is too plasticky

Hello, anybody have instal this on a Yamaha Raider ? How is it ?
Installed on my Suzuki Boulevard. Works wonderful. Will not hold a constant speed over a long period like a true cruise, but will maintain a near consistant speed for a short period to rest your throttle hand.
