Kuryakyn P-Clamp Item # 641755
Description
One slick little clamp, Kuryakyn's chrome plated stainless steel P-Clamp has many uses. It works great for mounting Silver Bullets or other lights to frame tubes or engine guards. Its hinged design makes installation easy. Mounting is very secure because Kuryakyn's clamp is secured to the tubing by both a flat head screw and the fastener used to attach the accessory. The clamp has a 5/16" mounting hole.

Needs improvement
First off, I'm not entirely unhappy with these clamps. The average rating comes from some issues which I'll explain.They look great, are made from stainless and have a nice chrome finish. Unfortunately, there seems to have been a bad batch come out. I ordered four. Two of them could not be mounted as the holes did not line up when the clamp was completely closed. The two replacements had the same problem. Fort Nine is doing their best to help me get suitable ones. They're very helpful. Also, the hinge is not permanently installed and can easily fall out. There's nothing to tell you this and I ended up searching for a hinge for a few minutes.. I can't think of any reason why you'd need to remove this hinge. It should be a permanent installation. I believe that when the clamp is installed and tightened, the hinge will not fall out. Just be careful when manipulating the clamp...put a piece of tape over the top of the hinge to hold it in place while working with the clamp. Make sure it's installed from the top down. When holes correctly lined up, installation is simple. I sent pics and a message to Kuryakyn. They sent me a reply the next day advising that they would speak with their tech team. As I write this, I'm still waiting for suitable replacements. If need be, I will file the mounting hole to get it to line up so that I can install the threaded bolt. Not a big deal but it would be nice to have had it right the first time. All things considered, I've said good value for the money and easy install.
