Great fit and finish
I bought this to replace the backrest with bars that bothered my wife's legs. After checking out a few options I decided on this one when it went on sale. Installation is a slow process as you have to cut the seat and carefully create a slot in the foam. Start to finish took me about 2 hours. It's very sturdy and comes with a nice chrome cap to finish off the hole in the seat. This looks (and I think will last) better than the sticky vinyl patch that other backrest options use. There is lots of adjustability and I like the ability to just remove it when I don't want it. The pouch is handy for stowing phone, wallet and whatever other small things you need quick access to.

Très confortable
Le support du dossier qui est inséré dans le siège est trop court et la cuir du siège est trop étiré et enfoncé. Moi j'ai refait les 3 trous du support sous le siège un peu plus haut afin de ressortir le support du dossier. Résultat le cuir du siège est presque à l'égalité donc s'il pleut l'eau ne descend pas comme dans un trou et par la suite entré à l'intérieur du siège

Purchased a month ago. Directions were great. Took a while to get the nerve up to make that first cut in the seat but the instructions for measuring were thorough. I'm amazed at the comfort and I have to wonder why/how I've ridden so long without a backrest! Highly recommended!

Questions
Can this part be mounted on the Revolution Driver Backrest Kit- 8930. I have the Revolution Driver Backrest Kit mounted on my Goldwing but the backrest part (padding) is damaged and need to be replaced. I just don't want to buy another full kit.
This is only listed to fit stock seats, and not the Revolution Driver Backrest Kit. Kuryakyn do not list a separate part for the Revolution Driver Backrest Kit, but you could try contacting them directly to see if there is an alternative option
