Don't Leave Home Without It
I bought this horn because, like most stock horns, the original was quiet and sounded like a kid's play toy. I mounted it as they recommended; on the front down-tube frame on the clutch/left side. Apart from the mounting hardware (beware of mounting the bracket, the lock nut and bolt; it cross-threaded and I had to find an alternate nut/bolt) it was easy to install. Sounds great, looks great. Although a bit pricey, you won't be disappointed once it's installed. It's a great addition to the safety and good looks of the bike! It adds a beautiful chrome appearance.

Horn blows :-)
Well after receiving the product - shipping was fast - the horn chrome was tarnished or burnt in the plating process in one spot; however since I bought the kit the cover hid this. I would say it is about 2 times louder then the factory horn. Thought it would have been louder, but hey. I think it's worth about 100.00 certainly not close to 200.00. Reason: it's made from plastic. the cover should have been chrome like the factory cow bell cover.

Is it intended to replace the OEM horn all together or can both horns be used
I believe it’s intended as a replacement horn . You won’t need pen horn with this one installed. I’m happy with mine. Good luck Dean G
