Easy install, works great
Took me quite a while to decide on 4 wire or 5 wire for my bike and 2 trailers. Happy that I chose the 5 wire. Not positive, but I believe that plugging a 4 wire trailer into the 5 wire connection will still operate the lights satisfactorily. That being said, you can still use a 5 to 4 wire adapter. I like having more lights for running, turn and braking on a motorcycle/trailer. Can never be too visible. The connectors were very straightforward and everything was complete. Easy to install. Highly recommend.

Kuryakyn trailer harness - bike side
The harness is built very well, good protection for the wire with extra length so routing was easy. the only down side was there was no connector for the trailer, had to purchase end separately.

Works great, simple install
I installed this at the same time as the kuryakyn hitch. This was the easy part. Remove the seat, snake the wires up to the battery and route them to your plug. I used the kuryakyn plug mount that attaches to the hitch. Puts the plug in easy reach.

Easy to hook up
I bought this for my 2012 FLHTC. Hooked it up works great, but, no brake lights. Realized I needed the 5 to 4 convertor. All lights work now.

How do I wire the 5th wire blue to a 4 pin plug
If your trailer has 4 wires you will need to buy a trailer light converter. Princess Auto sells them.
