Did not fit even though "Guaranteed fit"
I bought this kit for my girlfriends 2018 1200 Iron Sportster. The Fortnine website guaranteed the fitment. Firstly the right side bracket would not fit around the belt guard mount so I modified the bracket to work with the belt guard. After the modification; the brackets were able to be bolted in but contacted the spring holding cup at the bottom of the shock. It would have been extremely dangerous and would have caused damage to the bike if we had operated the bike with these installed.

good quality
At first i couldn't get it to fit, then my buddy just slipped it right on and proved to me once again that he's way better at turning wrenches than i am. That said, easy to install, make sure you figure out the spacers correctly. They're built heavy duty and i have no concerns for the part to fail. The only issue i had was that it does push the shocks out a bit and the spacers for the saddle bags needed to be drilled out in order for my lock screws to go through. I'm happy with the purchase.

Did Not Fit
Ordered this part for my 2015 Ultra Limited. It did not fit properly and caused the shocks to rub against the saddlebags. When I tried to return the item I was told they would not accept it because it was used (installed) and the manufacturer said it would fit. Waste of money and time. Won’t order from FortNine again

Questions
How much does this kit lower the bike. thanks
the product was exactly as advertised. it lowed my ride 1 inch , the install was easy . I have noticed no difference in the ride or handling but i am only a 200 lb man on a 1000 lb bike , i will say i will be changing the front fork springs to give 1 inch in the front as well . good product for the price , and the shipping time from FortNine was above average

Did you put these lowering blocks on a Road King with hard bags? Did you have to push out the bags with spacers? Do they change the angle of the shocks in any way? And do the rubber boots on the shocks rub on the blocks in any way? Thanks in advance
I put the lowering blocks on a 2004 Ultra Glide. Yes I had to push the bags out with the spacers.Yes the shock angle changed. The rubber boots do rub on the lowering blocks.

I can still have passengers if I install on my bike? 2007 HD FXDB
I installed the 1 " lowering block on my 05 ultra classic full bagger. I have not had a problem with passengers. The block just bolts to the existing bikes bolt but lowers the shock level 1" , and the shocks bolts to the block. I have been running low for well over a year. No negatives to this point .
