I bought these for trail biking. These seem to stay up on my leg a lot better than tube style knee pads. The top of the pad does tend to get in a weird position when you stand up fully, but it always seems to stay in the correct position when I'm on the bike. I have massive calves so YMMV.
I haven't had a major fall on the trails to test these yet, but I'm pretty confident in their ability to absorb a hard impact, even if I land on a rock or root. The impact plates have basically no flex, so a rock impact would be spread out over the whole plate. The padding is pretty substantial too.
Pedals slamming into the shin guard cause zero pain as you'd expect.

Good Equipment
Excellent buy; fits good, solid materials. I feel marginally safer riding my Standup E-Scooter that's capable of going 90 K/PH.

Questions
Is there a size chart with thigh and calf measurements, to know what size to order. I'm really petite, so I'm wondering if a S/M will be too big. I might have to order youth sizes.
There is a size chart above- it says "Size Chart"
