Description

Great protection without the bulk!
I use this for riding downhill mtb. I've had a few crashes with it so far and have been really impressed with how well it stays in place (much better than my previous Fox Titan armour). The integration with the Leatt DBX 5.5 neck brace is seamless and the suit fits better as it warms up. It's not too much of a pain to remove the pads for washing either. It breathes surprisingly well and does a good job wicking the moisture away. It also doesn't look massive and is barely visible under a jersey. Sizing is great i'm 6'3"/220lbs and the xxl fits great. Also FortNine's customer service is top notch - I had purchased the older grey one and returned it (unused) for this with no issues.

Léger comme l'air - Light as air
+ Très confortable, on ne sens pratiquement pas les pads. Semble très bien conçu, on se sens protégé.
- Fermeture éclaire semble être fragile, même chose avec le tissus. On entend un "crac" si on tire trop dessus.
J'ai fais cet achat en prévision de mon roadtrip de 1 mois cet été, je l'ai depuis 2-3 semaines donc je n'ai pas pu le tester à son plein potentiel (température chaude, conduite hors route etc..).

+ Very comfortable, you practically dont feel the pads. Seems very well designed, I feel protected with that produc.
- Zipper seems fragile, same with the tissue. You can hear a "crack" if you pull too hard on it.
I have made this purchase for my 1 month roadtrip this summer, I've had it for 2-3 weeks so I did not test it to its full capacity (hot temperature, off-road riding etc ..)

Great fit,
My intended use is for street, adventure and dirt bike riding.
My other suit was of the hard plastic veriety, which offered maybe slightly better coverage, but was a bit uncomfortable and restricted movement. especially for shoulder checking.
The Leatt 3DF once i put it on it seems to disappear and does not impede
movement in any way.

Great product
I use this for downhill MTB and it works great! Super comfortable while riding and obviously fits great with my leatt neck brace and the pads stay in place while riding. I'm 5'8 150lbs and the medium fit me perfectly. It can get a little warm on hot days but the fabric seems to wick moisture quite well. The fabric doesn't look like it would hold up well in a crash so i wear my jersey over it. It also could use more protection on the side rib cage area. Downside is its expensive, but worth every penny!

Satisfied so far
Bought this to wear under typical jackets when street riding. I know it can’t protect like a true riding jacket, but it’s better than nothing. The quality is good. I’ve worn it plus 20 times now in cold and hot weather. No problem with a sweat smell in hot weather.

I bought this for offroad riding summer of 2020 (I ride a KTM 500 exc). It's super comfortable and I've had some minor falls while wearing it and it performed well. My only complaint is that the zipper is cheap and on a couple of instances I noticed that it was coming undone while riding.

The best
Spent two months with this product. The protection is great. I'm skinny n 6"2 n ordered the 2xl n it fits great! The material stretches so taller people who usually wear MD or L tshirts don't b afraid to get the 2xl (I followed the sizing chart). The material wicks away sweat very well but it is hard to wear on really hot days in tight terrain. I wish they made it in other colors than black!! If it's not too hot I always wear it tho. The soft protection conforms to the body very well. I am very happy with this product.

Pretty good product
I bought this to wear under a dual sport jacket (highway/cold days), or my abrasion resistant off-road shirt (trail/warm days), and have ridden while wearing it about 10 times including a 4 hour hot day dirt ride on mostly trails. I am 6'3", 195 lbs, slim build. The 2XL fits well and it is relatively comfortable, allowed good air flow, and I could move freely while riding aggressively. No falls so can't speak to protection other than the armor is clearly superior in terms of quality and area covered, to what came with my expensive dual sport jacket. Couple issues - the mesh was super abrasive on the nips when the chest and back armor are cinched tight and after a few hours on the trail I had to tape those babies up. I could wear an undershirt but in hot weather I am wearing this under my off-road shirt and don't want another layer. As others have noted, the zipper seems weak and sometimes came undone while riding. I may take this in to a seamstress to add something that will fix that problem, and in discussions with Fortnine rep they offered some options to help with that. Great service as always.

No, there is no side rib protection. The only side protection are the pads near the waist

will this suit work with an atlas neck brace
Only compatible with the Leatt brands of neck braces. I have an atlas brace and the brace would not fit properly when wearing the armour
