Tested and pass!

I'm 6' 1" and 197 lbs enduro rider on mostly single track and the L/XL fits perfectly, is comfortable and not too hot. Has great protection also. When I purchased it a month ago i thought it was too heavy and would be too hot but I was surprised. Started riding and completely forgot I was even wearing it. I would recommend this product. Cheers.

Perfect value 2xl, fits like a 4xl!
I can't comment on the mid to smaller sizes... but if you are both tall and large (ex. 6'4"/270 lbs/60" chest), you will be glad to find this as it's unusually generous in its sizing! Recommended!

This costs more than other products but is well worth it. Torso and arms are well protected, its comfortable to wear, relatively good airflow. The forearms are a little snug which makes it a little difficult to get on. But once its on its great and everything stays in place.

Excellent protection all around.
fits and feels comfy. Not as hot as some reviews said it would be
stitching could be stronger.
You have to put your arms in first then your head or you might rip the stitches a bit.

Saved my life
I was hesitant to purchase this because of the cost, but ultimately decided to go with this one because of the flank protection that none of the competitors had. Well today that came in handy, as I landed fully on my side onto rocks from well over 6 feet up. This armour prevented me from even having a broken rib. My friend with a different armour pointed out that he would have had to be airlifted out if the same Fall had happened to him, because his armour didn’t protect his sides like this one does. Sooo happy I paid the extra money for this. I am extremely sore, but I am alive and I’m not sure if I would be able to say that had I gone with a different brand. Safe riding!

No body injuries!!
Enough snow has melted to go for a couple of decent rides to test out the new pads. It fits great and looks great too. I bought the L/XL. I am 6’2 and 160 lbs. it fits perfectly. I highly recommend these pads and buying from fortnine. Excellent service with speedy delivery. 10/10 :)

Questions
Can you wear it under a jersey or jacket, or is it too bulky?
This of course depends on your body size. But as an average 5'11 180 lbs man I did not find this suit to be bulky at all under a loose-fitting hoodie.

i am 6'0 stockier at like 225 (wide shoulders) how does the L/XL fit? should i get the 2XL?
I'm 175 5'9 and muscular. I find l/xl fits me well (the forearms are tight, so I removed them and just use fox elbow guards). I'm guessing you would need the 2xl for sure(Fortnine is pretty good about returns and exchanges)

In order to wear this under a jersey, do you size up the jersey for a proper fit? For example if I normally wear a size large jersey, would I know wear xl if I were to wear the protector under?
yes, I normally wear a large but L use an XL over the Leatt 5.5

Is this an over head protector? Or does it have a zipper? Just wondering for ease of putting on and taking off. Thank you.
Seems designed to be to used with the zipper.
After a few tries, I was able to put this on in under a minute. Well worth it.
