Excellent 3-season jacket
Very comfortable despite its weight and bulk as the full set of armor pads conform to the body. All the armor also makes the value proposition for this jacket pretty good compared to other, cheaper jackets with less protective pads or empty pockets. The included waterproof liner easily sleeves over the mesh jacket and handily survives hours of rain at 5°C without any water penetration to the upper body. You can run it under the mesh but then it gets a bit too snug for my taste, and you'll lose the insulating pocket of air trapped in the mesh jacket. Quality zippers on the chest pockets and cuffs run smoothly and lock when laid flat, rainproof flaps over the front pockets are roomy and convenient as I fumble with gloves on without dropping smaller items.
Very nice jacket, I'm set for the entire riding season in comfort and (subjective, desert camo) style, though my two caveats are that I don't get cold easy, and I expect the waterproofing to taper off a little as the water repellant coating wears off, at which point I would just re-apply it. Add some WP gloves and pants, a scarf, and you're set.
