Amazing - light and good protection.
I bought these braces a while ago and on of my first rides on my new bike had a pretty bad crash at at least 50km/h. Full recovery is ongoing but the braces I’m convinced saved my leg or at least my knee. I felt the bike land on my foot and leg and the force of the impact was transferred to the part that sits against my quad. I have a nasty bruise on my leg butt knee and lower leg & foot are perfectly fine. So these braces (and my Sidi Crossfires 3) saved my leg from major damage. That makes them worth their weight in gold. Speaking about the braces I normal legs size-wise and maybe even on the thinner side. However for me because the width of my knee is I guess more than average I had to go for the XL. I am 6’ tall 195lbs wear 33-34 jeans. The XL’s fit me perfectly. Very comfortable and once tightened up properly they moved very naturally when bending the knee. I could wear these for many hours and not get uncomfortable. Well worth the investment if you find the perfect fit.

Good protection
Fits well under in the boot pants, don't feel them when riding. Considered just knee guards but decided my knees are worth the most protection I can get.

Leatt Xframe Hybrid knee braces
Very happy with purchase, good fit and finish, comfortable. The only very minor issue might be that the sleeve that goes under is a bit short and doesn’t stay folded over the top of the brace as it’s supposed to. Not sure on durability as I have only worn them 5 times so far.

Great protection, strap buckles bit fragile though
Bought a year ago and been riding with since. Bought the large but should've went with xl (I'm right in-between the two).
Had a Endo/otb moment after hitting a kicker and on strap #1, the swivel part that goes into a metal post ripped. They sell kits online for $60 roughly. Maybe buy a set incase they rip on you.

Good protection
These braces take some getting used to and I don't like the separate knee protector in the long sock, it seems fragile and will be hot if it warms up, ever. Excellent protection though.

Is the sizing accurate? Leatt says I'm a large. I've never been a large in a knee pad.
I have always been a medium in mtb pads but run a large in these braces.
