Awesome sound!
Glad I bought this slip on, makes my R3 sound sooo much better. Not to mention shedding lbs off the bike by taking off stock exhaust..

Louder than a thunder
Nothing wrong with it, just waaaaay louder than my Yoshimura I have on the other bike. Tried to baffle it without success and I had to take it off as it is embarrassingly too loud, and I cannot enjoy the rides as I have to keep it low in the revs . Fort nine performed admirably .

Excellent Quality!
I bought this slip on from F9 and had it on for almost 2 months on my 2018 KTM 690 Duke. The slip on was easy to install, fit and finish was excellent, and the colour has not faded or changed since. I like the sound, it’s a little louder, but the cat still muffles it. The vibrations and low RPM jerkiness are less noticeable with it on, but I felt that low end grunt did worsen. Out of curiosity I had the power measured on a dyno, and it did not change by any appreciable amount. ~65hp peak at the rear wheel for those curious. I also track my bike, and found that the link pipe that comes with the exhaust does rub on right turns if bumps cause the bike to heave (really leaned tho).

Substantial loss of power
Not mechanically inclined by any stretch and had no idea what "back pressure" was or that you loose it with slip on exhausts. Looks and sounds amazing! However, you loose about 20-25% of the power, which is not worth it in my opinion. The loss of airflow to the engine increases your fuel mileage, however the flip side to that is the engine heats up MUCH quicker. The PROS definitely don't outweigh the CONS with this exhaust, spend the money and get a full system tuned to your bike.
