Bought to mount to my cobra highway bar on my 08 Honda shadow 750 areo. The screws mount into the aluminum hinge assembly. The pegs kept coming loose and spinning in the bar, when I tightened them for the several time they just stripped out. Lasted less then 2 months on the bike. Now they just lay around in my garage unusable. As a machinist I know I can drill out, tap new threads, and drop in a helicoil with loctite. I just rest my feet awkwardly ontop of the highway bar instead.

Threads strip easily
Mounted these pegs on my highway bar on my 2009 Yamaha V star 950. On the first install using a standard Allen key the threads stripped as soon as I put a little bit of pressure on the screw so that the clamp would not spin on the highway bar. Lindby will not warrant the product for stripped threads so clearly they understand that this is a recurring issue. Don’t waste your money.
