Multibar Highway Bar by Lindby Custom L
I would recommend a different bar for the V-Star 950. the built in foot peg is too close to the shift lever. My heel is resting on the shift lever when i use the foot-peg on the multibar. It was easy to install and It looks great

Great looks and value
I love the looks of these bars on the Victory. I feel better that my engine & to a certain degree, fairing, engine, bags and my legs have some protection. Reasons I gave a 4 not a 5:
Lindby provides a warning note they are for cosmetic purposes only. I can see a reason for the disclaimer. Bars that have folded in a crash (as one person on a bike forum claimed they are made to do to protect the engine. I don't buy that. Your leg could get caught between a folded bar and engine! Ouch) i wouldn't trust any bar in a moving situation not to bend. I hope that on a standing still fall they stand up to it!
I think the design could be improved with 2 bolt holes on top and the bar in the middle. My Vic has 2 mounting holes on top, but the Lindby bars use only one hole? I can see how that could be problematic with the bars folding.
The right bar had to be pulled a bit to reach the other mounting point. Thats just poor quality control.
Unfortunately due to Vics no longer being made there are only 2 options available now. Lindby's and Ebay sold bars of questionable quality.
In the end, as long as the bike is protected even if I have to replace the bars after a drop I'm ok with that. 22k bike vs less than $400 bars? Easy choice.

Excellent achat!

Ease of installation
I chose the Lindby because I knew it would fit. No making it fit heating torch, re-drilling, bolts too short two trips to the hardware store. This fits! Looks great on my 2012 Sportster XL1200C. I’m too short at 5’4 to use the footrests. And it’s got Harley-grade chrome- SO worth it!

Saved my bike and my leg!
This is my second Lindby engine guard. Last month I was caught in rain and the roads were very greasy. Although careful, turning right from a full stop, the rear wheel broke away and the bike slid onto it's right side across an intersection. The guard took the force of the fall and saved my right leg from being pinned under the bike. Although 2 of the 3 attachment bolts broke off and the bar bent, it did it's job. Only minor scraps on the exhaust pipes [battle scars] and a ruined pair of pants. I walked away with a minor abrasion, bruises and an appreciation for good safety gear and the Lindy Custom Multibar. After bringing the bike home from the service shop, I immediately replaced the bar with another before I took it out on the road again, confident of it's ability to protect the front end of the bike and me--should I ever need to drop the bike... Not that we ever "plan" to do that!! Well worth the money spent. The only negative is the highway foot rests are too high for me--I can't lift my legs that high anymore [being an old guy!] I mount highway/passing lights up there now and have add-on pegs mounted on the lower portion of the bars...

According to Lindby's website these would fit my 2014 Honda Shadow Aero yet your page says it doesnt. Why?
Hi Brad,
Sometimes we do not have every single vehicle listed for a product. We are continually adding models as time goes by.

It’s says it’s a guaranteed fit for my bike... 2014 xc 8 ball but at the bottom says not recommended for bikes with floorboards? My bike come stick with floorboards?
Lindby mentions that this item is not recommended for use with extended forward controls. If your boards are stock, then this item should fit. Alternatively, you can use Lindby's clamp on foot pegs for additional comfort and style. They can be found here:

Will this fit my 2007 Honda shadow vt750dc? If so when will this be back in stock?
Does it fit the back I’m not sure what the names of them are but I’d like one for the front and back
This is designed for the front of the bike as a highway bar. It’s not intended for the rear, so you would need to look for a separate rear-specific bar if you’re interested in that.
