Excellent helmet !
This helmet has a lot of great features , a drop down visor , an included anti fog shield, its light weight , great venting and I could go on! Worth every bit and I would recommend it highly! As for sound probably average, is there any helmet that is sound proof I doubt it so like any helmet you need to wear ear plugs. Bottom line an excellent buy! This is one great helmet

Good but needs improvement.
Pros:
Good finish to the graphics and colour.
Very light weight.
Fit was spot on.
Very comfortable.
Chin strap is way more convenient than the D-ring set ups found on other helmets.
Cons:
The two areas LS2 needs to improve are the sunshade as it doesn’t drop down far enough, and the anti fog system which does not work nearly as well as a proper pinlock. It fogs very quickly with the visor locked down all the way and makes vision through the face shield blurry. It would be better to use an anitfog spray than LS2's antifog set up. In cool weather I could not ride with the visor locked down as the fogging was seriously impairing vision of the road. The drop down sunshield is more of an annoyance. The easy fogging is a definite weakness. I would not recommend this helmet for cool weather because of the fogging issues experienced so far, unless the rider has the visor cracked open and is comfortable with cold air whistling in the helmet.
The helmet had a whiffy plastic odour. It gassed off after being exposed to open air for several days.
Venting is adequate given the bike has a wind screen.
I would recommend the helmet as a second helmet for warm weather only. The fitment is extremely good.

Nice helmet
Good snug fit and looks good. The sun-visor works well on its own, even at Hwy speed.

my 2nd helmet
this is my second helmet. first one was a hundred dollars SSGear helmet that i really liked. But now, i just upgraded to this one and I couldn't be happier. The comfort, the noise isolation (especially with the chin curtain). driving cruiser 120 km/h no whistling sound yet.
Cons: there one thing i would like to change: the shaded visor doesn't go down all the way which means if my main shield is up and my dark one is down, the wind is directed directly at my eyeballs.
i'm happy i got it!

Great value, but not what I ordered
I ordered a vector and got a citation?? Seems to be an almost identical helmet except that the emergency cheek cushions arent clearly marked in red like the vector.. Its a very tight fit, if there was an option to go one size bigger, I might try it.. Other wise , I am very impressed with the value of the helmet.. Nice design, I dont look like a bobble head and it is very light weight and quiet when I am riding. Wont know about the ventilation until the temps get 10-15C higher

Great helmet but noisier than expected
It is a good quality helmet for this price level. All features work well but I noticed the wind noise from the first ride. In terms of size I do 59cm which according to the chart is Large but ended up with M that fit me well...

Très satisfait
Il s'agissait de mon premier casque et j'en suis très satisfait. La grandeur correspond parfaitement. La vision est très large. Le seul point négatif que je vois c'est la visière sombre intérieure qui ne descend pas complètement.

Great value
Been using this helmet for almost a month now, huge relief to have a helmet that fits my long oval head properly. No hot spots. For the price you get decent venting, not bad noise at highway speed (I wear ear plugs anyway) and the drop down visor is great. Yes it would be better if the visor came down lower, but i would still rather have it than not. Starting to like the quick release ratchet system to, much faster to undo and do up than double D ring. Got hit in a heavy rain and nothing was getting past the visor and I stayed dry. Overall extremely happy with the helmet and the service from fortnine. Helmet fits true to size.

Does the fog shield actually work in cold conditions, like Canadian fall conditions?
It makes a huge difference with it in vs. with it out, if that helps.

I measure 58cm spot on. Would FortNine recommend a M or L size for the LS2 FF397 Vector Vantage Helmet?
Definitely L if not XL. I kept ordering until the XXL fit. A bit loud though over 100k. Maybe it's my big head though... Gets compliments though

Is it possible to attach a SENA SMH10 headset to the side of it? I see the sun shield slider is on the same side..
I installed a Cardo Smartpack with no issues.
