              Description

LS2 Stream II Helmet (FF808) - is an urban-touring helmet with a simple but elegant design to enjoy city streets and country roads.

Style, features and performance that surpass helmets costing literally twice the price, this helmet is an out-of-the-park home run.

It starts with an aerodynamic, sport styled shell made from LS2's proprietary Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA). This high-tech material uses nanotechnology to blend microscopic aramid fibers with a high-end polymer. This blend allows for amazing energy managing performance with managed flexibility that absorbs energy without the ricochet effect of inferior materials.

The Stream II meets the ECE 22.06 rotational energy management specifications using Advanced Rotational Energy Management Technology (AREM), another LS2 proprietary process.

The rear spoiler allows for dynamic flow-through ventilation. The 3D laser cut foam in the cheek pads, removeable, washable liner with special flex-crown comfort system is super comfortable and easy to keep fresh. 3 shells and 5 energy absorbing EPS liners make for a fit that is nothing short of amazing.

The optically correct, Class A polycarbonate shield is Pinlock ready, for the ultimate in fog management. The overall finish and performance sets the Stream II at the forefront of full-face motorcycle helmets. Even those costing twice the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Superb helmet, fits very small I have had 4 different LS2 helmets, including the first gen Stream (my fav.). I have always worn a medium, the Stream II was tight, very tight. I wore it on a 1.5 hour ride and couldn’t wait to get home. It’s too bad, I’d order one size up. This helmet does have great features and one of the best top vents I’ve experienced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice helmet As people said the cheek's pad are quite tight but they will get softer with some times. I really loved it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent helmet for the price Fits my head well. I have a longish oval head. Somewhere between an intermediate oval to long oval. Long enough that most helmets hurt my forehead if they fit the sides of my head. The LS2 Stream II fits well and is comfortable for long rides with no pressure points. My only complaint is that it is quite loud. I wear earplugs anyway tho. Another sticking point is that the drop down tinted visor is kind of useless. It distorts my vision, so I wear sunglasses under the helmet instead. That being said it works in a pinch. The quick release straps are little too close to my neck rather than under my chin, which is another common complaint with these. A big plus is how light weight it is. And of course the ECE-2206 is a nice thing to have for peace of mind. All said, I’m glad I bought this helmet. The only other helmets that fit my odd shaped head are Arai’s and they are 3-4x the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good helmet, bad QA After trying a few helmets in a local store and not being satisfied, I saw this one on a Fortnine video and decided to try it out. The shape and size fit perfectly! The strap is a ratchet strap, which I wasnt a fan of at first as it was pressing into my neck but you get used to it, and if you slightly pull it towards the chin bar it seems to be less irritating on the neck. One major gripe I have (not sure if this is a LS2 issue or Fortnine itself) is that the helmet arrived with the internal sun visor out of place (I had to realign the right side into the clip/mechanism otherwise the visor wouldnt retract correctly) AND there is a coin-sized greyish discoloration on the paint. I didnt notice these issues until I had already taken the stickers off, so I was unable to return it otherwise I would have and tried my luck with another one! It almost seemed like this helmet was bought and returned and QA didn't catch these issues. I know this isn't an expensive helmet, but it was still disappointing. Overall great and comfy helmet, but I am disappointed with the QA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent helmet with good features This is a great helmet with good features. Very comfortable. The inner drop down sun visor is also good, very clear to see through, not distorted. It has a good field of vision. There is plenty of room to wear it with my glasses on. Has cut outs for comm speakers. It seems to be on the small side compared to the sizing chart. My head measured 58cm. I had to send the first one back (L) as it was too small. I went with an XL which I find a good fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tighter Fit but Excellent Value Good safe helmet meeting the current standards and then some. Has a sort of in house designed MIPS system. I doubt you'll find many helmets that have the features of this helmet for this price. I was first turned on to this helmet from watching RyanF9 talk about it in one of his videos. At 60.92cm my head was a bit large to be trying a large but I ordered it anyway. I could get it on but it was way too tight. Gave that helmet to my girlfriend and it fit her perfectly though her measurement was about 56cm. Judging from what others have said I ordered an XXL and it fits perfectly. Since I'm right on that line of XL by measurements I would say this fits about 1 to 1.5 sizes too small so plan accordingly if you want this helmet. Venting is great, in this same price range the Icon Domain and Airflite may have slightly better airflow if that's a major concern. It feels like a helmet way above its price range in my hands as well as on my head. Thank you FortNine for the info on the helmet as well as excellent customer service. For those of you looking for a good entry level helmet or just a great all around helmet for the money, this is a fantastic choice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheek pads are TIGHT, great value for the money I bought this helmet to replace my super cheap FX-99, just to give context as to what I was used to previously. So far I’ve been really pleased with the FF808. The good: •Plastic interior pieces protect the EPS foam from being damaged when reinstalling cheek pads •Drop down sun visor •Lightweight •Removable, anti microbial liner •Good ventilation (I have the white one, and compared to my grey FX-99 this helmet is noticeably cooler in direct sun) •ratcheting chin strap •ECE 22.06 •Speaker pockets for perfect placement •Looks great (I think so anyways) •Build quality feels solid •Emergency cheek pad removal •The part of the helmet that makes contact with my head (not face) feels great and comfortable •a little bit quieter than my previous helmet The bad: •cheek pads are INSANELY tight. This is by far the largest complaint I have for this helmet. I’ve broken them in some but I don’t think there is even an option to buy a thinner cheek pad for this helmet, which I would gladly have paid extra for since my face hurts after about 30min. I don’t remember the cheek pads being THIS tight on my FX-99 when it was new. I even tried breaking the pads in by inflating a soccer ball in it and left it there for about 4 days. •face shield positions are a joke. Either it’s open fully, closed fully, or open half way. Even my $99 Fx-99 had 5 positions to keep the visor cracked just a tiny bit. In the halfway open position the edge of the shield sits right in the middle of my view and makes it hard to see, and that makes it pretty much useless for me •most people will probably have the shield closed at higher speeds BUT if you leave it open you can really feel the wind trying to lift the shield and the helmet off your head with it. I don’t think this is a big deal since most people will probably close it on the highway •Helmet sits a bit high on my head. I got a medium because the large felt a little too loose and the chin bar is pretty much always in view. I have to grab the helmet and pull it back down every 15 minutes •The mechanism that operates the sun visor is clunky. It works fine on the way down, but to raise it back up it will get stuck halfway if you don’t slide it up with enough force. I’m giving it a 4/5 stars, but my honest review is closer to 3.75. The cheek pads were so unnecessarily tight that it made this helmet unenjoyable at the beginning. I had to break the cheek pads in by other means to get them to a point where they were tolerable. I should mention I also tried a large and they were also tight on that one, but it was too loose on my head which is why I went with the medium. All things considered though, I really do love this helmet. If they offered different cheekpad thicknesses I’d up my review to 4.5 star.
