Good Protection, but a bit messy
I bought the smaller can of this product to take on a 3500 km trip and used it on two liquid-cooled Triumph twins. For whatever reason, the Triumphs are allergic to chain lube and will go "dry" between 300 and 500 km using my favourite lube, Motul Road. As other users have said, this stuff likes to fling, but with a little spray discipline (or a shop towel) you can mitigate the worst of it. If you're looking to keep your bike show-clean, this isn't for you. If you're looking for some stuff that will keep your chain lubed up for a long time, this stuff is fine. I also use it on my 350 Husky, and prefer it to the chain wax, which doesn't fling, but doesn't stick like shirt to a blanket either.

Flings Off
I decided to try Maxima Chain Guard since it was a bit cheaper than what I normally use. Went for a 3 hour ride the other night, and after about an hour I noticed a bunch of chain oil residue on my swingarm and inner rear fender. Trail conditions were really dry/dusty and the Maxima Chain Guard oil had all flinged off after just one hour.
I won't be buying this again and don't recommend it. Maybe the Maxima Chain
Wax would be a better option, I'll have to try it or go back to the other stuff.
