Work as advertised
I bought these hand guards about a month ago and installed them right away. I have heated grips but in cold and/or rain the backs of my hands still suffered. The guards keep the worst of the wind off and along with the heated grips make a big difference. Installation was straightforward and the instructions clear. I might remove them for the summer and reinstall them come fall, as I'm not wild about the the look but for now, function over form.

Does protect in cold
I got these in September and thought that they were maybe not protecting my hands that much from wind. But I went for a ride in early December in 10° weather, for a few hrs on back roads at less than 60 kmh, in my lighter gloves and my hands did not get cold. Later, after 30 min at 80 kmh they were getting cold but that’s understandable and I switched to my winter gloves. They do offer wind protection. They also don’t look all that bad on my Harley and you can see a few mildly modified Road Kings on YouTube, with them on.

Fits a Magna too!
I bought the version of these hand guards that are meant for an Indian scout because it looked like the recent scouts had very similar mirror mounts to my 1994 Honda Magna. The guards fit perfectly and they are very good at keeping my hands dry on rainy Vancouver rides! While the price isn't the best, the build quality is top notch.

Exactly What I Hoped They Would Be.
Sure, they are a bit on the pricey side, but what isn't these days?
They fit straight out of the box and they do exactly what you want them to do, all while looking pretty good and somehow being instantly forgettable. I mean, you can literally fit and forget. No drama, no fuss.
I have ridden almost 5,000 km with these installed and not one issue has come up.
