Memphis Shades Mounting Kit and Fork Deflectors
Very happy with the kit and fork deflectors. Mounted on a 2008 V-Star Yamaha 1300 Tourer. This despite the fact that they were not supposed to fit according to Fort Nine description for this year and model. Huge difference made to helmet/chest buffeting at speeds from 80 kmh to 130 kmh. I do have a 23" windshield but it wasn't the air coming over the top; it was the air coming over and around the tank. If you ride the Coquihalla in BC from Hope to Kamloops, speed limit is 120 kmh although few drive at or under that speed. Needless to say the Memphis Shade Defecltors and Mounting Kit have solved my buffeting problem, Pleasure now to ride at any speed with a simple and inexpensive solution.

Mounting kit
Look good. I had to add a bit of extra material on the inside of the clamps to make it fit tight on the Suzuki C50 forks, but I knew that going in to this project.

Easy to install
I bought those a month ago and I can only say I should have not hesitated as long as I did. Installation is a breeze. Quality of material is excellent. They hold the lowers in place with no issues.

Did it's job as Intended!
Bought the fork deflectors and mounting kit to try and stop, if not minimize wind buffeting on my '08 1300 Vstar. They did their job...95% resolved , however because I have a light bar, it limited the height I could fastened the mounting brackets onto the fork. Also had to install the tapered end at the top because of the crash bar( wider part of the deflector would hit on the crash bar when handlebars turned completely to the right and left.) Definitely recommend.
