Excellent dirt tire
Have tried in mud, sand and loose rocks. Performs really well, zero complaints. Have not tried it on the road as i broke off most of my street legal bits.

Great traction in sand
This is a good tire with great traction in the sand but it is heavy. I bought it for its longevity reputation but I still prefer the Starcross 5 because it is lighter.

Metzeller seems pretty tough
Drove 2 hours sand/rocks CR500 massive upgrade from Maxxis IT.
Rubber is very hard but no wear at all so far. Normally tear off a lot of side lugs.
