Excellent tire for its age.
I bought these tires in Jan. 2020 for my 1978 BMW R100S. I think they are a prefect match for the bike. My only problem is this rear tire has a date code of 3015.
This means that its been sitting in a warehouse since July of 2015, or for 4.5 years. One would expect maybe a year or two max. The front was dated 3718 which I find much more except-able. Hopefully these tires are so awesome that I will not have an issue. But, I was always told to replace a motorcycle tire when it is 4 or 5 years old even if there is plenty of tread. I'm not sure what to do. Maybe the people at Fortnine will have a suggestion.

Great tire, great service but.......
I bought these tires after a large amount of online research. They look good and I am sure they will perform as well. Spring will tell the tale. One really disappointing thing that burns my butt. The tires are almost senior citizens! Before I even get to try them they will be over three years old! Feeling a bit ripped off! If they were on sale because of their age I wish that had been stated on the website! On one of Ryan's YouTube videos he talks about looking at the manufacturers build date on the sidewall and not to run tires if they are more than five years old. So the only way I come out on this alright is if I use them up in two years. If I only had one bike likely would not be a problem but it depends on how much time I put on this one and what the next two summers are like plus how many miles this tire is good for. It is December of 17 now I will post pictures of the manufacturing dates one is the 18 the week of 2015 the other is the 20th week of 2015.
