          Description

The new MICHELIN Anakee Adventure joins the French firm’s Trail catalogue alongside the existing MICHELIN Road 5 Trail (for 100% road use) and MICHELIN Anakee Wild (50% road / 50% off-road). The latest addition to the range, which is designed for 80% road use and 20% track/trail use, means it now covers an even wider spectrum of trail biker needs as a function of how frequently they take their motorcycle off-road.

The MICHELIN Anakee Adventure stands out notably through its exceptional grip on wet roads due to its new generation silica-enhanced compound. It also combines outstanding performance in dry weather with stability and resistance to wear thanks to two Michelin-patented technologies: MICHELIN Dual Compound 2CT and MICHELIN Dual Compound 2CT+.

Meanwhile, its new, open tread pattern provides the necessary traction when straying onto unsealed tracks and trails.

          Features:

          • 80% on-road, 20% off-road
          • 2CT and 2CT+ compounds
          • Fitment for popular ADV bikes including the BMW R1200GS
          • This tire can be run either with or without a tube

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy these as an ADV bike touring tire. 4000+ km so far. They literally look like new. I find they are quiet, smooth on pavement. Gravel roads are non-issues. Good on wet primary/secondary roads. With that said...if you taking your ADV bike into mud, grass, trails...I would not recommend these tires! But for pavement, chipseal, gravel roads they are an awesome tire. I will definitely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best performance I replaced the new-ish tire for this Michelin and the change in day to night. Performance, stability, leaning confidence, very goo brand. I see they charge the right amount for the right performance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid tire Fairly expensive rubber but the only thing available in the size I needed. Just completed an 8000km trip through the western States on them. Front tire was tough to balance at the tire shop. Took seven weights to get it balanced, front also howled on corners to the point I could hear it through earplugs. Now the good. Solid on the pavement and surprisingly good on the bit of dirt I played in on my trip and seems to be wearing well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tires! Just bought the new Anakee Adventure tires before going on a road trip in the American NorthWest on my BMW GSA R1200 and love them. After 10 days and over 6,000km, the tires performed very well at all speeds on the highways and side roads, pavement, gravel and even in light rain, at temperatures from about 8 to 35 Celsius. Great tires.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tires Work well on road and on gravel the threads 'whistle' when in curves between 90 and 105 km/hoir

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fist time on Anakee 3, 4000 km on it now and great! Must better in the twisters but a bit louder in the curves. No vibrations on the strait line. Non different one or two up. Time will tell for the durability.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Terrible to mount Not for BMW R1200 GSW s. An absolute bear to dismount/mount even if you have a tire machine at home. Sidewall is totally rigid. Even the shop had a heck of a time getting them off and scratched them all up and broke the tire sensor off the inside. That tire in particular should never be mounted on the cast rims with shallow center cavity. They are tough enough to mount on the wire rims that have a deeper center cavity.
