The Michelin City Grip 2 is designed to address the demands of modern scooter owners, including high grip performance on all the types of road they may come across in and around towns and cities. To achieve this, engineers working out of Michelin's Technology Centre conceived an innovative compound which features specific materials, including silica. • The silica-based compounds and shark tooth sipes are designed to provide an excellent level of grip on wet and slippery surfaces
          • Amazing wet grip, delivers better wet traction and shorter stopping distances on wet surfaces
          • Chosen by the world's most prestigious scooter manufacturers with more than 20 standard fitments

          • Delivers even more mileage than its proven predecessor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tire for Maxi Scooters I have this tire on the front of my Kymco People GTI 200-2014 from a couple of months and even only with 200 kms it gives my scooter a great stability & precise directions on turns, it is just a bit heavier but trust me, very very stable, I am pretty sure it will be even more on my fall & winter wet rides here in Victoria-BC. I am going to replace my "rear" back old Pirelli with this "awesome top Michelin tire". I would seriously recommend this Michelin tire to all the Maxiscooterists around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Early Performance I've just switched to these from a pair of the original City Grip tires. I live in Vancouver, so wet is a given. And this tire, even within it's break in period, is able to handle all road conditions with aplomb. I'm looking forward to the moment when they have fully broken in - and see how much more I can get out of them (changed front and rear at the same time).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tire The City Grip 2 seems to be an excellent all weather tire. Too early to comment on longevity but dry and wet performance is as advertised. Delivery time was very fast.

          Questions

          what is the "reinforced" versions?

          Asked by: jayysr
Reinforced tires are designed to be able to cope with additional weight that you may carry in your vehicle. They hold more air, have stronger sidewalls and extra beading in the tire construction.
