Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST all-around tire, PERIOD. I've been riding since the early 90's and I've never been soo impressed with a set of tires. I mounted them on My FZ1 and it's a whole new machine. Wicked grip in corners and transitions, under braking and when hard on the gas. Super smooth and quiet for touring. Barely any scrub-in period. Amazing tires. Do yourself a favor and get these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tires great service This is the second set of Michelin Pilot4 I bought for the Moto Guzzi Griso. Excellent tires, first set went to 20000 Kms. Great Fortnine service received them in 2 days via Canada Post.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rain tires This is the fifth one of these tires I've bought.Rear tire lasts 12-15000 kms. Front tires will last close to 25000kms. I live in Alberta so lots of straight highways.I find these tires excellent in the rain, especially on mountain twisties. If you push them "really hard" in the dry you can reach their limits a little before you like. I tour lots, so I get to ride in the rain lots. These tires are the best I've found so far for the type of riding I do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tires This is the third set of Pilot 4s I've purchased.Price from Canada's motorcycle is the best in the business.I road a cross country trip on these tires last summer and put 18000 km on two sets of tires.wet or dry, these tires give great feedback and always feel planted.I am confident putting 10000 km on these tires.Wear is great.Even on the big 14.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These tires shine in all aspects I just came back from a trip out in the West. Lots of twisties and of course long straight highways. I have an R1200RT and the feel of security is undeniable. After 8000km, the central band is only slightly worn out even for a bike with two up and fully loaded. So far, I am very satisfied and I will see how long they will last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good mileage touring tire. This is my 3rd MPR4 with the last two wearing out between 13,000 and 14,000 miles. The 2 tires before were MPR3 and only lasted about 11,000 miles. The 2 tires before them were MPR2 and went 13,400 and 16,300 miles. This experience came on a BMW F650CS (thumper), so not a high powered sport bike. MPR5 are now available but do not advertise any improvement in mileage. MPR2&3&4 all had excellent traction on pavement (dry or wet), and would be even better tires if they would last 25,000 miles, and I suggest they should put twice as thick tread rubber on the center of the tread.(Note that bike is in miles.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Probably Beat My Pilot Road 3's For Mileage I put PR4's on after getting 21,000+ from my PR3's. That mileage REALLY impressed me after having replaced the stock Dunlops ONCE with MORE Dunlops in the first 26,000 km. Yes, I know, I'm a slow learner. LOL. The PR3's were a LOT quicker to warm up than the Dunlops......and LOTS better in the rain AND the twisties. I currently have 8000+ km on the PR4's and they look hardly worn......although I have to say that I spend most of my riding time on the twisty roads in southern BC, northern ID and WA and western MT. No freeways for me if I can avoid them. BTW, my bike is usually loaded down with 30-40 pounds of camping gear, so the rear tire is worked very hard. I usually use my bike exclusively for long distance riding/camping trips and very little in-town use.
