          Description

The Michelin Pilot Street Radial brings the radial revolution to small and medium-size bikes!

Radial architecture that enables improved overall response and handling as well as unrivaled performance over the long term, compared with a same-size cross-ply tire. A 100% silica rubber compound that delivers the best wet grip in its category, for a safe, sporty ride. The Pilot Street Radial tires are derived directly from Michelin's radial Sport Touring ranges and features tread borrowed from the Michelin Pilot Road 2, giving the motorcycle an attractive, sporty appearance.

The Pilot Street Radial features a slightly sharper profile to ensure excellent driving precision under normal riding conditions and a steeper shoulder for steering accuracy when camber angle increases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Huge Improvement! I upgraded to this rear tire after I wore out my Roadwinner rear. This tire is head and shoulders better. I feel so much more sure-footed and balanced. The turn in with this tire is buttery smooth and even the hard compound grips like a fat kid on a cake at chucky cheese.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tires I bought these tires for my Ninja 300 before heading out on a 4,200 km trip across Canada. I am very happy with my decision. These tires felt great on twisty roads--they were much better than the stock tires, especially in colder conditions. They have performed great in rain, on grooved pavement, and on gravel roads. I did not experience a single moment where I wasn't confident with them. They are made of a harder compound for commuting/longevity though, so they are not as confidence-inspiring on twisty roads as a softer tire. But for what I needed them for, they were perfect! They still look almost brand new after ~5,000 km, plenty of tread left.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty decent little tire. Bought this to replace my stock rear Michelin pilot street (bias ply) on my '15 R3, so far have been pretty happy with it for street and twisty duties. Rear end grips a lot more and haven't had a rear tire slide at lean angles and speeds higher than the stock pilot streets did so im happy here, also wearing extremely well, have 2k km's on them and they look brand new, (old pilot streets got me 11k km's). Only issue is the front end feels like it's gonna give out before the rears but that's not this tires problem. I would certainly recommend them to anyone not headed to the track and looking for a tire that is gonna last longer than 6k km's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Street Tire Bike: Yamaha R3 Excellent dry grip and solid performer in the rain and wet conditions. Bike always felt sure and confident on the highway even when I was caught in a cloudburst. Dry traction for the level I push the bike is more than adequate. Compound wear is pretty good but this really depends on your driving conditions. My first set the rear made it only 6,000 kms and the front made it to 12,000 kms BUT I was fairly hard on my year tire. I had a completely new set put on before the start of a 5,500km bike tour. I'm at the 3600km mark of the bike tour and the rear is in great shape. I'll definitely get a lot more distance out of this rear tire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like these tires! I don't really have anything to compare them to besides the stock ones that came with the bike. This was my first time buying tires, I would repurchase these ones for sure. It hasn't rained since I bought them so I can't comment on wet traction.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great tire for commuters I've been running these on my Ninja 500R for about 25,000 km and am only getting close to the wear marks now on the front tire. The tires last a long time under normal riding conditions and offer enough grip to keep safe those who commute daily. A good balance of budget and longevity. Very good grip in the rain too. It looks like they may be discontinued soon so I'm glad I just got a new set now before they're gone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with these tires... This is the first set of replacement tires I have put on my bike & my only comparison is to the OEM tires that were very worn out. The tires give a more confident feel & the bike definitely handles better; steering is very responsive. Traction seem very good; most of my driving is in dry conditions, but I did not have any concerns in the little bit of wet driving that I have done. Overall I am very happy with these tires so far.
