As ever, a great tire
I have put just over 5,000 km on these, with a wide range of weather and road conditions. In every regard, the tires have performed superlatively. Only one complaint- compared to the road 5’s, these tires (especially the front) is a lot noisier. Minor gripe for the performance. Curious what others have found.

New Running Shoes
These tires give me the feeling I get when I first put on a new pair of Nike running shoes.
The tires are the most confidence inspiring when entering a corner and turning through the corner. I get the feeling the tire is soft while proving great grip and is super stable flicking the bike quickly from turn to turn.
I have tried the Road 4 GT, the Road 5 and Road 5 GT as well as the top Metzler offerings but the Road GT6 provides me with the most performance a tire can can offer today. Haven't tried them in the rain yet but if they are only just as good as the Road 5's they will be a winner in my books.
You will pay a bit more but

Nouvel essai et très confient
Je viens d'installer le Michelin Road 6 GT sur ma BMW K1600GT, et je suis très confient, à première vu (après 50 Km) , j'ai remarqué que le pneu ne transmet pas les défaut de route= comparé a mon Road 4 GT d'au par avant et cela je l'apprécie, il me donne comme une sensation de confort, donc j'aime cela et au final la profondeur du pneu est beaucoup plus profonde que mon road 4 GT, donc je suis confient de faire plus de 15000Km avec ce Road 6 GT =étant donné sa profondeur. ( le Road 4 GT ma donnait 12000KM a chaque fois (2)).

Not sure if the GT is worth it
Great tire but feels a little slower to warm up, recently went from the road6 to the road6GT and ive put almost 6000kms on it so far (trip from bc to cali) a few hard twisties in the redwoods and its all broken in. in medium/heavy rain in a straight line its awesome the edges feel like a different compound that stays a little cooler in the thick of it, id like the whole tire to heat more evenly. Ill update this listing when i ‘finish’ the life of this tire. hoping for 15k kms

Great deal. Great tires.
Bought a bike with mismatched tires. Never trusted them. No going back with the Road series. Had 4's on my last bike. Only tire I'll run. Upgraded to the 6's front and rear and it's like a new bike.

Happy to try the next gen Michelin PR tires.
Just had the new PR6GT’s fitted today. Have only brought the bike home some 20 km. Way too early to say how I feel yet but the rear PR5 I just replaced had almost 20K km on it and was doing well. Had a few hundred more in it. Looking forward to these new 6GT’s.
