Great so far..
I ride the scoot. daily 10 klms each way to work,the Michelin tires Replace the original ones at 9000 klms. they ride much better offer more grip and look good on the Vino.

There are better choices
So let's start with the positives. It's not a sporty tread pattern but you'll be scraping your CVT cover long before you lose traction in dry and wet, and heck it's even good on gravel. Not so good, it feels jittery above 105 km/h and they lose wet and gravel traction at about half the tread remaining. The poor - my rear tire was at the wear bar at just a smidge over 2,000km. Only six weeks on a tire and I have to change to another one, how annoying! Michelin has another scooter tire for not too much more with sportier handling and twice the tread life and I'm going back to that one.
I'd say the S83 is ok though for those who want an era appropriate tire for their classic scooter and don't ride as much.
