Great Tires - handle bad roads easily!
I just returned from about a 13,500 kilometre trip north, with lots of gravel. In Yukon, Alaska and Northwest Territories rode the Dempster, the new Tuk highway, the Top of the World highway, the Denali, the Liard and the Mackenzie.Swapped out my first set of E07s with about 9000k; they still had life in them, but wanted to do the Liard and Mackenzie with fresh rubber. Tires handle gravel, both loose and hard pack with no issues. Got a little squirmy when roads got wet and greasy, but on those roads there are few tires that won't. Pavement riding was fine - tires gripped well in all conditions, but a little loud. Not so loud that I could't coast up on bears a couple of times! On highways that are famous for flat tires I had none. Current set has around 3,000k on them, with not a lot of wear, and I am not light on the throttle. If you're going to be riding mostly pavement, get a smoother tire, but for the gravel rides, this is a very good option.

Great tire
Really nicetire. Very decent price compared to others. Although the tread doesn't look as aggressive as tkc80 etc., I find they perform the same or better - and that was side by side on same model of bike.
They are very tough to mount on your own, I would honestly advise spending the twenty or 30 to get a shop to do it

So far I have only driven about 1000 klicks on this rear tire , it’s performed well in concert with the same front, I found it very grippy on the paved surface and sufficient on gravel,.... sand is sand , you just need to take more care on heavier adventure bikes, I would certainly buy this again!

I`ve used this tire on 2 Tiger 800`s and a 800GS. Best bang for the buck out there. Just a good all rounder for the mid size dual sports. Lasts forever. Not a great mud or sand tire. Stiff to install with levers.

Rode on this tire from BC to Ontario, all in all about 6000km and the tire had lots of life to spare. It handled pavement, gravel, sand and mud with ease and I always felt very confident going anywhere with this tire mounted.
One massive downside to this tire (and the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5) is the fit on the rim. It was difficult to mount (which I was told to expect), but the real problem is it was impossible for me to remove the tire using my tire irons once the bead was set. If I was only riding streets and roads that were accessible to regular traffic this wouldn't be an issue, but if I had to repair a flat trailside I would be in trouble! Since the whole reason I bought a dual sport bike was to go where cars fear to tread I won't be picking up another of these tires, which is a shame because I really loved the way it performed!
If trailside repairs are not a concern (perhaps this isn't an issue on other bikes, but on the KLR650 it is) then I highly recommend this tire!

Remarquable tires.
I am very impressed with these tires. I bought them to do the Colorado and Utah BDR from Toronto and they delivered the grip in all surface. I would buy them again in a blink of an eye. Now at 11000km on them the rear tire still have at least 2000km and the front 5000km left.

Questions
What is the difference between the eo7 and the eo7 plus?
The E07 + is an improved version of the standard E07 that has a slightly modified tread pattern which delivers an improved off- and on-road riding performance. A bigger knobby design provides a plenty of open space between the tread blocks to displace sand, mud and water from the contact patch while keeping enough rubber in contact with the road as the tires rotate.

Hello, is this a tube type or tubeless tire?
It can be used as both. On the sidewall is written `can be used as a tubed tyre-add tube` !
Best bang for the buck rear tire.
