Indispensable gear
I picked up one of these vests hoping to cut the chill when I'm still out riding and the temp drops, and I have to say it worked superbly. I thought I would miss not having heat in the kidney area and questioned the placement of the heat areas on the chest and upper back, but the vest performed quite well (what do I know?). I was comfortable on the second to lowest setting in 55-60ºF weather in riding jeans and an armoured riding flannel shirt at 80Kph. Even the vest alone adds warmth, and a close fit is preferred. I'm 6', 180 LBS, pseudo-fit build and the medium fits snug enough.

Heated vest
Working in -40° C was extremely chilly and uncomfortable with layers of clothing to keep warm. No longer uncomfortable since I purchased my vest. Now I am toasty warm. The vest is light, fits perfectly and movement is so much better without all the layers. I would only recommend getting a 2nd battery at time of purchase.

Pretty good for being battery operated.
I was not sure how this vest Would perform only being battery operated but I was pleasantly surprised. I have now committed to work on several occasions with temps at around -1, -2 Degrees Celsius. This vest kept off the chill quite well. My commute is very short 35min so not sure how long the battery would last on a longer commute/ride.

La veste est en tissu extensible. J'avais commandé une Large considérant que je porte un chandail sous la veste . Mais un large américain est égale à un X-large québécois... Comme le but est de réchauffer le corps, la veste doit être en contact étroit avec le corps. J'ai retourné la veste et commandé la grandeur médium.

It works, it's just not very well thought out
It works exactly as advertised, but fails in the real world. The heated zone across the shoulders should have covered the entire back. Why only heat between the shoulder blades when warm kidneys are happy kidneys. And the controller button down at the waist is precisely where the vest folds when you sit down. During my first 2 hours of use the vest accidentally changed the heat setting 3 or 4 times. If you like cool kidneys and never sitting, this is the product for you
