Moose Coated Spokes - Long Term Review
Originally purchased in 2016. Very good looking finish, however the original package came with 4 extremely damaged spokes. Unable to finish lacing my wheel, I had to ask for assistance getting replacement spokes (delivered a few weeks later). Year 4; spokes look ugly, yet have performed well and remain tight thanks to rust/corrosion around the spoke nipple. I would not dare adjust/replace spokes at this stage, since you can never match "patina".
I advise you to get stainless steel spokes, not these coated ones.

Much nicer than stock
So I am taking a star off because on my bike I had to drill the holes larger to accommodate the nipples that have a diameter of ~0.3mm larger. Wasn't a big deal at all and the nipples are nice and beefy and can be turned by an allen key. The chrome finish is nice in that I will be able to wipe the dirt and chain oil off the spokes now. Reason I changed from OEM is that I got the bike used and in changing the rear tire found that several spokes and nipples were siezed and one broke in my efforts to get it loose. I wanted to get the stainless ones, but now I think I made the right call. For the money saved and the nice smooth chrome finish, I don't see a need for stainless.

How many spokes are in a set for the advertised price.
This would depend on the vehicle selected. Most options will offer the whole set of 36 spokes, as to where some bikes would be offered only the inner set of 16 spokes or the outer set of 27 spokes.

Will these work on excel rims or just with moose rims?

Bonjour, combien de rayons contient le set de rayon moose? Et est ce qu'ils sont compatible avec une roue D.I.D de Ktm 300 xc-w 2010?
L'ensemble de rayons spécifique à ce véhicule se trouve à être le 0211-0067. Il contient 36 rayons, ce qui correspond normalement au nombre de rayons original du véhicule.

I can't see what size of spokes these are, are they 2.15,2.5?
They work on both, as the rim width doesnt matter when lacing them up.
