Worked perfect
Previous owner of my bike claimed to have replaced this seal 3 or 4 times and it was still leaking. I used the extra beefy o-ring and made sure the snap ring seated properly and it’s been holding up great, no leak!

Good and bad
Good metal ring I guess and the o ring is ok but the oil seal broke after a few days and leaked since installed. Maybe I got a bad seal or old but I mean it was split all the way around and had strips of it all over the place in and outside the seal.

Questions
Kit for my yz450f came with 2 o rings. Do both o rings get used? Or is 1 an extra?
My KX450F only needed 1 o-ring. If you go to an OEM part finder you can find an exploded view of the parts under Final Drive -> Transmission. A 2013 YZ450F only needs one for example.
