Better grip and comfort than oem.
I've been riding with these for a couple of weeks and are impressed both with the general comfort and grip when standing. The need for the Moose springs needs to be clearer, though. I didn't initially order them because the web page inferred that stock springs would work, but it's immediately clear once you receive the foot pegs that they won't. I went for the 1/2" offset which pushes them back slightly. I'm glad that I did. I also filed down the teeth on the outside of the pegs. These are razor sharp which I could see digging into my leg one day.

upgrade your ride
Huge upgrade on stock klr pegs, much heavier and a better footprint.

Way more beefy
Oder came fast. The pegs are a lot bigger than the tiny DRZ stock ones! If you get the 1/2 inch offset it sets the front edge of the peg the same distance from the shifter/brake with a lot more footing. The original pins and spring need to be reused but the pins don’t fit directly into the moose peg. I had to drill out the new peg to fit. That aside it was pretty smooth. I recommend this as long as you have a decent drill bit to make it work.

Great pegs, not too aggressive
A must have upgrade from factory pegs if you go off pavement and get your feet wet. not too aggressive allowing your foot to transition without chewing our sole off.

Greats Pegs
Was a little tight getting them on (using stock springs), you do not get springs with the foot pegs. But, they are great pegs!!

Works as advertised!
Feels really solid compared to stock pegs on my wr250r. Had same problem as other reviewers with the right peg covering access to the mounting bracket bolt. Make sure to order the springs along with.
Great service from fortune as always!

Great stability
They fit easy and give me lots of confidence as a big rider. Return spring for stock peg is to week to hold pegs down. They flop around a bit.

KLR 650 pegs fit VStrom
Bought these for my 2018 VStrom 650
They fit without modification using Moose Racing springs. They do slant back slightly but that is not a problem.
Improved grip and wider base for standing is obvious.

Questions
Are separate moose springs required for installing moose hybrid pegs on 2016 KLR?
No you should be able to use OEM springs but if you need replacement springs they can be purchased here:

What is the difference between all the Moose footpegs? Besides color and price, they all appear the same in the pictures.
These pegs are vehicle specific, so different parts will fit different vehicles, and the prices may vary depending on color and application.
The suppliers and manufacturers provide us with stock photos for products, and often, when there are many different models of the same item, a standard photo is used.
It is important to rely on the specific year, make and model for the determination of fitment, and not by how the image appears on the website in these cases.
