Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install on a Yamaha XT225 These Moose hand guards mounted onto the original handlebar without any modifications. The are also pre-drilled to accept the Moose Contour 2 plastic hand guards, which I also installed. They're quite solid, and priced right for smaller bikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install ! I've always found handguard to be pricey, but since these are the cheapest of the bunch, they are a pretty good kit! Installation is easy and well explained.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They fit. Eventually. Got these for my Gen2 KLR650. Eventually got them to fit after some modification to ... pretty much everything, shaved a bit off the corners on the backbone bar, a bit off the bracket and cut the very end off the clutch lever. I suspect most products in this category would be similar in fit . These just happen to be the cheapest. I really wish they threaded the front spacer bracket instead of the rear facing half, it would make it a lot more user friendly to install and tighten.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handguards I bought these for a KLX 250S and they seem decent. I had to cut the ends of my levers off to get them to fit but hopefully they protect them from drops and branches in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product. Have them on all our dirt bikes Have these on all three dirt bikes. Excellent product. Caution when ordering as the bar clams come in two basic designs, straight and offset. The offset design is to mount around brake reservoirs etc and slow for proper alignment of the main aluminum guards. The strait version may not allow for proper placement. Research which version you need as to pitches the proper kit for your machine. Top notch product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are good! These guards look good, and seem to be well made. They offer a good level of protection for levers, and for fingers, in the event of a crash. Just a note.... the handlebars on a 2019 DR200 have solid, non-removable weights inside the ends. The only way I could figure out to install the guards was to drill the weights and thread the hole. Lots of work, but the end result is a very secure install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. DR650 with moose racing CR high 7/8” bars. These bars did not fit without some modifications. But great bars once installed.

What are the bits of rubber tubing in the photo used for?

              Asked by: Moto MacGyver
They go inside the bar ends, then a bolt, which passes through the end of the guard will screw into it.( There is a nut inside the rubber) The rubber expands as the the screw goes into it, locking it in place.

What are the dimensions of this product? Overall length and distance from bar to the hand /lever guard. Also whatis the difference between tbis and the "mini" version?

              Asked by: Customer
Approximately 12 inches in length. The mini version is designed for 65cc-85cc 2-stroke bikes and 70cc-125cc 4-stroke bikes. This model is designed for anything larger.
