Single Phase Half Wave
Works great! It’s a single phase half wave stator meaning one end of the charging coil wire is grounded to the stator body. It’s easy enough to convert it to a single phase full wave stator which is what I did for my application. I’m using it and a regulator/rectifier to charge a battery/run LED’s on a couple CRF50’s. Also it has 5 coils for the charging circuit compared to the 4 I would have had if I rewound the original stator.

Not the same look as factory part, but it functions well. Three screws holding it but one factory screw is to short due to different thickness from factory to this new stator.

Ohmed out a bit higher than oem, better spark. Bike starts and runs better.

Works for 2007 big bear BUT!
Definitely not an OEM replacement since the pickup coil wires are about 2 inches too short. Therefore also the protective sleeve is too short inside the cover. Not necessarily deal-breaking but needs work to install.

It just works.
I was wondering how the stator just worked, then... Didn't. No spark, the test procedure was inconclusive. This fixed it. Happy now!

Bought this for the drz 400 it works but the rubber grommet leaks wish I would have done more research it is a known issue. If I was to do it again would have just got a ricky stator instead.

Good experience
Bought the stator it came in faster than expected and was exactly the correct fit, unfortunately there was additional damage and I had to return the product to buy the manufacturers complete stator assembly kit. 2 minutes on the phone and a return shipping label was in the mail. Good experience, will shop again.
