No longer have steel contact surfaces
I have bought 2 sets of these in the past and I was very happy with them. They were long lasting and they kept the water out with the internal o-ring. The set I just received are just anodized aluminum. I contacted Moose and they said that they no longer make them with the steel sleeves. The product description is completely wrong and misleading. They do still have the internal o-ring, but the anodizing is inferior to the plating on the OEM parts. They will not last very long. I won't buy another set.

new ones are NOT THE SAME AS THE old moose ones
like the other guy said in his review these used to be far better then the ones they make now, the old sets had hard steel shells or made from a solid piece BUT again another company will choose to be cheap and save a buck then care about the buyer and how long they will last, well i just took my old ones to a machine show and had them copy the parts BUT made from 1 SOLID piece of hardened steel which cost me a whole $40 CAD not tax no shipping, i STRONGLY suggest anyone do the same as these are NOT WOTH BUYING ANYMORE

No steel, just aluminium
Should've read the reviews vefore buying Walt250 is right, these have no steel collar, they're aluminium and will wear out quickly. Also noticed the black anodizing is flawed, poor quality manufacturing

Unreal quality when compared to stock
Honestly my bike was an 2002 written on it and everything but by VIN its an 2003 and i had to make a new axle for the bearings to fit... They still work and are way thicker then stock bearings. A couple hard jumps and not even a little bit of play coming from them.
