Wrong tool, right application, made it work great.
I thought the 44 mm tool had only 4 tabs sticking out- not 6. I was able to file off the 4 other tabs so I could use this tool on my bearing retainer that was a 4-tab part. Worked great. And with a lot less frustration and time than other home-brew options.

Questions
Is this product supposed to come with a new bearing retainer as shown in the photo, or just the tool? Every product image i can find online shows a new retainer with the tool, but the package i received only included the tool. Help please!
It is only the tool, the retainer comes with the bearing kit.
