No, at least not on the bike I bought the Brake lever for.

is this the shirty model or long like oem(ugly)? My bike is a gl500.
The lever was the same length as OEM. The benefit was being able tho August them closer to the bars so I can get much more feel at clutch engagement and the difference in braking action is great. Ì would recommend them.

Is this for a right handed brake? My son keeps braking levers and I’m sick of paying 40$ a pop from dealer. Trying to not waste more money
Yes, right hand side. I found this lever to be an exact copy of the OEM. A way to solve the problem could be with shortie levers or ones made to be reset, the internet is full of options at all price points.
