Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well but maybe don't trust the instructions This is a great little all-in-one tool. It works well but the mistake I made was trusting the instructions. It says that it can break chains up to 520s without first grinding the head of the rivet off. This is totally false. I was very careful and cautious but the breaker pin could very well have been made of glass. It shattered almost instantly. Luckily I found another makeshift pin that fit and was much stronger. I recently broke another 530 chain but ground the head off the rivet first. It went much smoother. I may order a replacement pin. With the help of my grinder, hopefully it will last longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solidly built; does the job I used this to remove an old chain and install a new one. The instructions are decent, but watching a couple YouTube videos helps if this is your first time. The tool is solid and all the pieces fit together well. Good for a backyard mechanic. Only complaint is there isn't enough leverage when breaking the old pins, but a screwdriver or similar does the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the Job I modified the rivet bucking procedure slightly by doing each rivet separately and it seemed to reduce the stress on the tool, and me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Broke the extraction pin on my first try. The instructions should advise new users to grind off the head of the chain rivet for ALL chains. I will be ordering a replacement extractor pin now that I know what to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact useful tool I have used this product before I purchased it, and found it a very compact and handy tool. I know there is some comments about this tool breaking when used (possibly incorrectly? and not on 630 chains!) to drive the rivet from the link. Make sure everything lines up, and if you feel its gonna break, stop, and grind off the rivet. I own and use a old heavy duty chain breaker to do that part, but I'm sure there would be no issue using this product on a 420 chain.
