Functional, but could easily be better
It does what it says on the cover, but poorly executed. Lots of little things add up to making it not really worthwhile. Could probably do some arts and crafts on your own to make a similar device.
As stated in another review, the hose is poorly attached to the syringe. The hose is more of a hard plastic than rubber, so slips off easy and once coated with oil, really doesn’t want to stay on. There isn’t even a little ridge on the syringe spigot where you could tighten a wire over the hose to help it stay on, so I resorted to electrical tape around the hose and then base of syringe once I got the oil cleaned off everything...
The adjusting screw is easily knocked loose, and the measurement markings are faintly printed on the metal tube.
In the end, once it’s set up and not falling apart, yeah, you can get your oil level set easy.

Does the job
This item works taking the guesswork out of getting levels correct but the syringe, being made of flexible plastic permits air to be drawn in past the plunger unless you go Veerry slow. I gave it a 3/5 but would nonetheless recommend this tool over going by measurement alone.

Works well
I used this while rebuilding the forks on my gold wing... worked very well to allow me to get the exact height of fluid needed in the forks. Simple tool, not professional grade probably, but not professional grade price either.... but makes the job much easier.

Overall satisfied
I bought this to ensure proper level of fork oil on both tubes were the same worked out great. The only thing you have to be cared is that the tube will slide off when pushing fluid out but overall happy and well worth it.

Easy to use.
Using this tool I had no worries about overfilling my fork oil. The only thing is the markings on the needle are faint and a little hard to make out.

Same tool the pros use
Works great, no complaints. Ensures there is the correct amount of air gap in your forks. Makes replacing fork oil a breeze. Inexpensive and works way bettter than a ruler, ensures both forks ahve the same air gap. Highly recommend
