Got the job done very well...
...Although there was a bit of difficulty lining up the plate holes to the rivets on my 520 during the press fit, as the tool is made to suit multiple chain sizes. Would be great if there was specific plates for each chain size so that there is no risk in damaging your master (this is why it's 4/5 stars). I didn't try to break a chain, but I'd suggest that you grind the rivets off before hand; that'll help the tool last forever.

Don't Bother
The first time I tried to peen a solid rivet with this and the optional kit, this tool bent. Also the solid rivet kit mounts backward forcing you to tighten it from the opposite side of the bike. Look for a chain tool made with better engineering and tool steel and not aluminum like this thing.

Only chain tool I haven't broke first use
I typically work on street bikes and every so called heavy duty chain tool kit either broke breaking the chain or riveting. This tool has done three 525 chains and still going. I got the quad stake for renthal chains and works like a charm.

Solid Tool
Absolutely rock solid tool. Easy to use. Precision made. I bought it to repair a poorly installed chain and it did a great job resetting the master link and flaring the rivet.

Heavy Duty
Broke a 530 chain with ease (did not grind rivets). Used to replace with a 520 chain. I did not realize this tool compressed the master link so I used Motion Pros Master Link Press Tool which also worked well. Flared master nicely. I trust this tool will last me for years.
