great grip
When used on a split garden hose, it requires multiple layers (ideally crossing over like an X the first direction). But when properly applied holds very well. Have to be careful when applying it to not pull too hard on the tape as it will snap - perhaps a little bit of a thicker tape would help. Once you get the proper tension however it goes on nicely.
