Spontaneous Combustion
Suddenly broke for no apparent reason while riding i.e. not after a crash. Possibly due to vibration? No idea. Never had this happen before... Junk.

Broke during installation
I was simply tightening this perch slightly snug and the perch snapped in half. This is poorly designed. Do not recommend this product.
