Wasn't impressed
Used these today to switch out a back and front tire.
They work great to start with, but they are very difficult to slide down the rim when you are moving along it due to the thick plastic they are made of. In addition, they are difficult to remove and move up when you are putting the tire one.
If you are going to use these, buy 4 of them, that way you dont have to screw around and move them as you go.
I ended up using some thick soft plastic like material, the kind food containers are made of, just thicker. Way easier to pull out and move, and much cheaper.

Horrible Product
Didn’t even last one tire change. The plastic is too soft and crumbles under the pressure of the tire irons. The tabs where the string is attached, ripped right off. Not worth the money.

they work great
1 set is not enough, they seem small and could be longer. i just ordered 2 more sets to protect the paint on my ST1100 & VFR800 wheels better.

Good rim protector
I bought these Motion Pro Rim Protectors to complement my Motion Pro RimShield II rim protectors I already use. I like the combination of the two styles of Motion Pro rim protectors as it gives two styles to use while you pry away on your tire and rim. The Motion Pro Rim Protectors are thick and snapped on to my rim keeping them in place to provide good protection of the rim. They were harder to move but that is where the Motion Pro RimShield II rim protectors came in handy as they are easier to slide around on the rim while working. As an added bonus, my cat liked the box they came in. Delivery was a little earlier than forecast :).

Ended up getting in my way trying to pry my very tight dirt bike tires off. The Motion Pro levers didn't mar my rims and I wouldn't really care to much if the did. It's a dirt bike. Maybe more for road bikes with fancy rims

Saves the Rim
The protectors seem well made & do a good job of preventing rim damage from tire irons. Best to order two sets for better coverage.

My second set of this brand
I wore out my other set, and that set lasted a lot longer than a competitor brand which were easily torn by the squeeze between tire iron and rim edge. I expect these to last a long time as well. I've used these on a fair number of different motorcycles - KLR, WR250R, FZ6, BMW F650, Honda Nc700x, ....

Do the job
Got these to protect my rims and they do the job. But they are a little hard to move around and get off after installed on the rim. Overall they are good thou.
