Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Perfectly Used this to compress the rear shock on my KTM 1290 SA which has a very heavy spring. It worked perfectly and made disassembly a breeze. Much safer option than the "whole bunch of zip ties" method. Like most Motion Pro tools, it isn't cheap but it works perfectly. Removing the shock from the bike was surprisingly easy, Touratech has a Youtube Video on it that is great.

Questions

Will this work on a 2016 can am maverick dual spring rear shocks ?

Asked by: jason
Ok, I am not a mechanic but I do want to work on my KTM enduro 690 R to learn how it works and how I can become confident I can drive. That been said, I watched a YouTube video concerning your shock and I believe you could use that Motion Pro. I really liked it when I used it for a simple shock compressor for dissembling my WP rear shock. It has adjustability for a number of sized shock. You’ll have to look for the maximum opening adjuster on the motion pro and the size of your shock spring. Hope it help but the motion pro is a very good and safe product if you understand how to use it.
