Meh....use your knees
I saw it used once and thought it would help getting second bead on my tire machine from spinning - never got it to work well - marred up rim and not really long enough.... disappointed first time with Motion Pro stuff...

It work
I used it on a front tire change and it worked keeping the bead from slipping. The rear tire is bigger so not sure if it will work as well as staying in play. For the price it is worth the purchase.
