Rated 4 out of 5 by from Price is right Works well after I filed a bit of meat off the middle where it contacted the camshaft heel forcing it out of sweet spot to hold down the valve bucket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from bolt hole on tool does not align I bought this to adjust valves on a 1988 Yamaha FZ600. The tool is meant to screw into the head to keep the bucket held down so that the shim can be removed. However the hole on the tool slightly does not line up with the hole in the block preventing the bolt from being screwed down so that it holds the bucket in place. Like one of the other reviews said, you could machine the holes out slightly to fix this. I ended up using a set of zipties instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine Note that using these bucket retaining tools requires them to be exactly centered by the cam to get the tool to hold the bucket. If the bucket slips off the tool, you're not positioning the tool correctly. A bit of a knack for learning how to position the tool, but once you figure it out it works 100%

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wow!!! Bought this tool for an '86 Yamaha Radian valve adj. job (service manual specified tool) and had to modify/re-shape it so it would work. Someone needs to double check the mould they're using to manufacture it. Once I changed the shape, it worked. Purchase this tool if you have machining skills, if not, pay a professional.
